Patrick, I’m really proud of you and being able to see this first episode finally air. The level of vulnerability and openness you showed takes courage, and it was good to see how intentional you were about asking the right questions. Some moments while you spoke made me stop and think about myself, my relationships, and how I show up for people. I think that’s what meaningful conversations are supposed to do.
I will say that one thing I’ve learned is that it takes real growth and maturity to get to a place where you can genuinely give to people without expecting anything in return. I’m still navigating that because my biggest challenge has always been dealing with users and ungrateful people—the people that like to take your kindness for weakness, or see you as a “low fence,” or expect you to always give and do for them because they think you have it to give. That sickens me and makes me think two and three times before I do now. So its still a learning process to be willing to help people while also having healthy boundaries.
Great first episode buddy, this was definitely a conversation worth having

Hey Z! Thanks for the support bro! Whilst many tend to see vulnerability as a weakness, especially for me, it's really more of a strength than anything. Opening up with personal experiences can definitely help those people who are afraid to disclose what may be going on with them.
And whilst I am capable of talkin' a whole lot of foolishness, at the same time I don't want MY SHOW to just be that. I want people to look deeper at who they are. Everything is so surface level these days.
And I completely agree with you about people taking your kindness for weakness...but this is where discernment comes in. Don't get me wrong I ain't round here like Oprah givin' everything away. I choose very carefully who I can assist.

Great 1st episode, PAT and glad you still did the recording in spite of! I agree that if someone is going to do something for another as a favour, let it be out of the kindness of their heart & don't expect anything in return but if the favour is going to be on long-term basis or if the person is expecting some kind of repayment (however that may look), then that should be communicated before-hand.
